I would recommend the book for anyone looking to get a better picture of each perspective. The author does comment on the education from a student's perspective. It was interesting to read for me having gone through a Christian undergrad experience that, at least in my department, pushed us heavily in academics. I did not have as many "you will learn this and accept it because I said so" moments as the author did, but I know it happens. Yes! I would recommend the book for anyone looking to get a better picture of each perspective.

The author does comment on the education from a student’s perspective.
