About

splashing through water by you.My name is Corinne, and I am a graduate in the field of Home Economics-Family & Consumer Sciences. I am also a Certified Family & Consumer Scientist.  Currently, I work as an Educational Technology Specialist and adjunct professor (I teach Spoken Communication – w00t!).

I am also working towards my Master of Arts degree at The George Washington University, majoring in Education and Human Development.  My emphasis is in Educational Technology Leadership.

I started this blog for the express purpose of writing down my thoughts, impressions, and analyses of life.  Inspiration may come in various forms, whether through the mother of all teachers (Experience), journal articles, research papers (yes, I do read those. Scary, isn’t it?), books, movies, conversations, websites, blogs, or anything else that comes my way.

Many have described me as a rather nice person; I honestly don’t know what they’re smoking.  One of my favorite activities is thinking. It is only when I think things through, talk them through, or merely wrestle with them that I can then understand them better. I think more people should spend time thinking and evaluating the different ideas and experiences that come their way.

When I am not sitting in front of my screen, I enjoy hanging out with my wonderful (and adorable) husband, Mike. Together, we enjoy hiking, biking, intellectual conversations, and long walks on the beach. When cash is readily available, we also enjoy sushi to a sinful degree.  We have two pet rats, a betta fish, and two doves who like to treat us like slaves.

| Welcome & Disclaimer|

Welcome to my blog! This is where I post my thoughts, ideas, and observations as well as things I find interesting, thought-provoking, or just post-worthy in general. They do not reflect the ideas of my places of worship, work, or study nor those of my family, friends, and pets unless stated otherwise. Cheers!
